PHYLLIS TUCKWELL HOSPICE LIVING APPEAL

MESSAGES OF SUPPORT
FROM LOCAL DIGNITARIES FOR
THE  PHYLLIS TUCKWELL LIVING APPEAL

Baroness Bottomley of Nettlestone PC DL
The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice performs vital work for those suffering from terminal illnesses in our community. The doctors, nurses and therapists provide wonderful and sensitive care to patients at their time of need. The successful second phase of the Living Appeal will enable the expanded community team, which was so popular and successful, to continue providing care to those who most need it, in their own homes and two additional beds will really help more patients and their families. Please support the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Living Appeal so that they can continue their marvellous work.

Jeremy Hunt, MP South West Surrey
I would like to wish the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice all the best in the launch of the next stage of their Living Appeal. The staff and volunteers do such important work supporting patients and their families at the most difficult of times, and providing them with a peaceful and caring environment. No family in South West Surrey is untouched by your inspiring work. I know that the appeal will be a great success because you are raising the money not for yourselves but for all of us. Thank you to you, your staff and your volunteers. We will be supporting you all the way to ensure you can raise the funds that allow you to look after people for many years to come.

Sir Ray Tindle, Chairman Tindle Newspapers Ltd
The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice is doing such a marvelous job here in Farnham that I know it will receive the support it badly needs to continue its good work among us. The Herald and, I’m sure, all Farnham residents and businesses are right behind you. God bless the Phyllis Tuckwell.

Simon Clegg CBE, Chief Executive British Olympic Association
As a local resident I fully appreciate the fantastic work undertaken by the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, too often the quality of their care and work is not acknowledged until it is too late. We should feel proud that we have such an outstanding facility within our local area and I hope that local businesses and the community will support the Living Appeal, none of us know when our own lives may depend upon their staff and support systems.

Jeff Toms - Director of Marketing & Client Services Farnham Castle
There are few whose lives have not been touched in some way by the misfortune of these illnesses. I strongly encourage everyone to give support to this invaluable work - in whatever way possible.

Ann Milton MP, Guildford. Shadow Minister for Tourism, Licensing and Gambling
